It needs an exhaust, does anyone know whether or not it needs a cat box?
Has anyone had any past experiance or can give me any advice?

It goes on whatevers oldest ratch.
Engine or car. So you don't need one.
Scrap that, I don't think it is ratch? Are you english fella as I can't quite work out what you are saying with the frogmiester comment?

I also have a 94 touring with an M42 engine. I'd love to turbo it. What setup have you used?

It was turbo when i bought it about 4 years ago .It ran with standard ecu.chipped, recurculating dump valve .and intercooler.Turbo is a low pressure one, make and what car it came off not sure.Bhp was about 184.Because engine was high compression found out reason for blowing head gasket, valves, guides, rings after about 18 months.....After a head rebuild, new bottom end, decomp plate, turbo rebuild its back.it still needs a few things like stand alone ecu,new exhaust before i can try to get more power gains
