Ive got a 318is Turbo on a 94 plate "E30"
It needs an exhaust, does anyone know whether or not it needs a cat box?
Has anyone had any past experiance or can give me any advice?

if it is a 93 plus engine you well need a cat for mot :cry:

ye it is a 94 touring with a turbo conversion project,
can i use the frogmeister an how much bhp would it take?

you will need a highflow 200 cell cat if you email ANT he will be able to get you one. but are sure it a 94 is

the car is a 94L but the engine is an M42

Engine or car. So you don't need one.

Scrap that, I don't think it is ratch? Are you english fella as I can't quite work out what you are saying with the frogmiester comment?

I also have a 94 touring with an M42 engine. I'd love to turbo it. What setup have you used?

It was turbo when i bought it about 4 years ago .It ran with standard ecu.chipped,recurculating dump valve .and intercooler.Turbo is a low pressure one,make and what car it came off not sure.Bhp was about 184.Because engine was high compression found out reason for blowing head gasket,valves,guides,rings after about 18 months.....After a head rebuild,new bottom end,decomp plate,turbo rebuild its back.it still needs a few things like stand alone ecu,new exhaust before i can try to get more power gains
