Is there anyone in the UK that keeps valve guides in stock for the M20?

any decent engine shop should be able to get them my local guy got mine easy

silly questions but why are you replacing the guides?

why not ream them and use larger valves?

the only guides that will need replacing are the exhaust guides as they wear alot more the inlet side should be the same as from factory

so the machine shop would just pop the old ones out and replace the new ones - so that you use your current valves?

yeah theres no need to replace the valves they will be fine if its done average milage
but having said that they do ream the new ones to suit which ever valve you use

It is just the exhaust guides as they are very poor. I have had some made now as everyone that listed them off the shelf had none in stock with no delivery date.

Bloody expensive to change the valves just because the guides are oversize!

reamed out stock guides with OS ( stem) valves are a no win IMHO

More valve train friction, heavier valve...........

less is defo more :D
