anybody know the weight of a large case diff?

Get on some bathroom scales and record your weight, get on the scales again with the diff in your arms and the difference in weight is how heavy the diff is (ish)

You're looking at 35-40kg for a 188mm medium (e30 large) case diff. a 750i will have a 210mm large case diff, bigger than anything fitted to a E30. It's got to be 50kg at least.

i'm almost sure a medium case diff is around 40kg, so i'd guess a large case is closer to 50kg.

All in the ETK! Assuming it's an ex E32 diff, then it's 46.64 kg.
