Just thought - have you got the E30 M3 5 stud? And are you running the standard M3 front calipers?
If so, those wheels wont clear the anti-rattle clip on the front caliper without a 5mm spacer, but 5mm is too thick and means the wheel wont locate on the hub, just on the wheel bolts which isnt good.
Some people say run without the clip, but I dont like that idea.
Ive got 3mm spacers (so the wheel sits on the hub) and have taken a grinder to the anti-rattle clip to gain the extra clearance needed. Its not ideal, as the extra track of the M3 suspension plus the 3mm spacer does leave the front tyre very close to the arch - again, this is on mine with a 50mm front drop and the extra weight of the S50.

I have M3 5 stud. I am not using M3 anti roll bar as I have a mod'd 325i bar on with complete new bushes.
I will be using WMS 4 pots once Keri finishes the kit.
Anyone know the colour and code?
Oh and I will be running 225,40x16 t1r's as seen here on my now 4 stud ATC's

You do know that the M3 runs a thinner bar as the roll bar mounting method makes it more effective for a given thickness.. Therefore you will be running a pretty stiff front roll bar now.. Might make it a bit understeery
Mate I am leaving the anti roll bar bolted throgh the bottom arm. I may change to complete M3 in the future but I will see how it feels as is for now.

I think I will try without the anti rattle clip and see how I go. The 4 pot kit will be ready by the time I swap anyway hopefully. If so I won't even fit the front brakes.

You could always get the outside pad machined down a bit to bring the caliper inwards
With 8 inch rims id be going for 225/45, I keep thinking I should have used them on my 7.5 Hartges, need more 'stance' innit

The stut leg where the caliper bolts through or the Cartier its self?
I want to leave the strut standard but I would cnsider taking 4mm off the carrier if it's safe?

I know what you mean - as in part-worn pads move sliding calipers away from the wheel.
That's why sometimes people buy alloys that "just fit" sliding calipers....but then DON'T when they next get new pads!!!

I will be using mini motorbike valves when I fit them up properly. It's stripped back off now as them Tyres are going on the 4 stud's when they are back from coating.

I think I may struggle to get 225/40s on the rear of mine until I raise the car a little (stupid facelift arches) as Im getting a little tyre rub with my current setup under hard acceleration (205/55/15s on ET20 15x7"s). They are about 6mm smaller that 205,55x15 so you should be ok unless it's the width that's an issue. As the 55's are a ballon I reckon they will be better on the car than standard size.

I don't know that there will be a problem yet! I would say that the M3 sliding calipers are bigger than my 4 pots. I haven't had them next to each other yet though.
Or James could double rubber the rear springs to get that little raise. On top of the spring the rubber is much smaller so use 2 bottoms?

FAO James, I have a pair of 10mm spacers which i took off Buster`s old car which fit between the rubber and the spring on the rear to lift it without the need for new springs if theyre of any use to you.
Those Ronals look good Dezzy, if i still had the sport i would have been ripping your arm off for them, E30`s look good on 16`s

No longer self employed but still available for welding duties.
When I am ready to move them on I don't think I will have any problem shifting them.
