buy a storm kit there the best imo and there a bit of a fiddle to fit under the scuttle i think its called a bit tight but its ok
as for the kit have a look on ebay for a storm kit this is what i have on my track car and can't fault it mate
YOU could even adjust the park so i gues you could have it parking in the middle (if thats your bag)
hth

hello mate. ive done a single wiper on my cab. only abit of cutting and welding so save yourself some doller. start by taking the linkages out of the car. once out cut the drivers part off as this is no longer needed. make sure you dont cut any of the mounting plates off. then take the small bar off the motor and cut it on the bend. shorten that bar to 54mm for the perfect sweep. grind it smooth and replace the whole lot back in. you can have the wiper parked where ever you like, just take the bar off the motor move the wiper by hand to the position you want and bolt the bar back on.
take your time with it and it'll work out for you. hlh
see pics for sweep and measurment.
p.s use a straight arm off a ax or a bx

it works really well. forgot to say, i used a spare seat bolt cap to blank the drivers side hole. just a dab of super glue, job done.

i fitted a single wiper on my chavalier runaround. the driver side wiper broke so i turned the passenger side wiper around slightly on its mounting and bent the arm a bit to sweep across both sides.
a botch job even munky would be proud off

A 'Sh1treon Picasso' has a good all plastic covered rear straight arm, come to think of it most french turds do...
Megan, 307 etc etc
But rig up the BX front arm with the washer jets and blank the bonnets off

i will never understand why the right hand drive cars have a different wiper linkage set up then the LHD cars.

i found this on real oem the LHD linkage uses a 54mm arm stock all you need is to buy part number 61611370799
it is number 4 on this diagram
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do ... g=61&fg=45
that would save all the welding and be bolt up.
another thought is to use the lhd vent to cover the hole that is not is use not sure of the part number on that one.

if u had a RHD wiper set on a LHD car, u would get the big unwhiped area that is on the n/s in ur line of vision.
hope that sounds right to readers of this.
