My 320 D plate has jetronic injection but no ICV,and the idle speed has a life of its own....when its cold it fast idles between 1600-2000 revs and warm idle can vary between 800-1300rpm,it does'nt hunt and i have'nt found any split pipes etc so for so anyone got any idea's for me? :eek:

m10's which are also jetronic have something called an Air slide valve, this sometimes gets gummed up, try cleaning it with some carb cleaner.
Might as well do the whole intake/vacuum system as well while you are there.
I'll try and find a picture of an air slide valve....
