"Hi Mr Clarksun, my name is Wendy from BMW, and I want more than anything else in the world to send over the new E92 M3, tanked up and insured, for you to road test for a week or two [chuckle] Yeah, I thought that would interest you [giggle]. Call me anytime at 0800-BRACKNELL.â€a

How long, O Lord, how long have you waited for just such a phonecall to come through to you? Some people wait all their lives. Not me, though. I get them constantly. This was the first voice message waiting for me on my phone whilst clearing UK customs.

Frankly, the thought of abusing BMWGB's hospitality, although appealing in a superficial-instant-gratification sense, fills me with dread. Wistfully, my mind is filled with performance 3-series' from a nobler age.

So, if you've an M-Car, an Alpina, a Hartge - hell, you may even have a Racing Dynamics. Post up.

I want cars breathed upon by the tuning houses —a factory approved or not.

Same car, just a 'day' diesel conversion.

And it's my Dad's.

And it certainly is in Nottingham.

Do you live on a warden patrolled pensioner estate mate?

Nope!

It would be too much aggro for the wardens.

It's more of a council estate.

They certainly are.

But I live on the opposite side of the road to where the car's parked. That's probably why the complained, because I parked on 'their' side of the road!

So I parked it even further on the curb to piss them off!

Council wheels. Horrible interior. Scandalous rear lights. How could you do that to a an M3? Sorry but zoners are just being polite if they're telling you that's a hot M3. There's no way it can win.

Never anything nice to say... that's our Royal Ratshit...

And using the name of one of BMW's best engine designers for your small minded cr*p is unexcusable...

Get lost!!!

Dude - Just fuck off!

It's not your car! You don't make the decisions on what mods are done to it! So if you haven't got anything good to say don't say anything at all :x

Woow, this thread went 180 in no time.

I agree with Max on this one. What "PaulRosche" said was a bit uncalled for.

We all do changes to our cars regardless of what people think. We do them for us and nobody else!!

Looks like quite a few man hours have been spent on that M3, so Im sure you can give credit for that.
