help with chip

ive just pulled apart the ecu from the case . and how do you get the boreds apart to get to the chip.
dont want to just go in ham fisted .

You have to bend the little metal tags and undo the screws, just be light-fingered.

You should be able to pull the lid of to reveal the circuit board?

The chip you want is under the plastic cover, and carefully remove it by levering it either side until it becomes free.

ive got the old school one

its a 073 but i can see the chip but its in the middle of a 2 layers of cuircut boards , like a sandwich.
but it looks well in there!

its also got a little square thig with a hole in it that has a triangle shaped hole in the middle that turns
.( god knows wat this does but i want to fiddle with it!)

i found the way they put it together. wasnt easy but got there , after that its a doddle!

the square thing is the fuel quality switch dude, mess with @ your peril

the 073 ECU is a PITA full stop, glad you cracked the puzzle though dude
