MegaSquirt Now Fitted!
After a very busy day down down at Atec with Ant, finally got MS stand alone management fitted, i was hoping to get this done during the summer but it wasnt to be due to having to have the re shell work done.
Anyway, after lots of coffee making from me and Ant's hard work on the 2.7, then install was complete.
Evening time saw the basic mapping done and then we started mapping on the road. The first thing i noticed was how much more smooth the car ran with MS, it did take me alittle while to adjust to the new set up and i wasnt keen on the throttle response at first but that was adjusted more to suit my driving style and after that all is well.
On driving home on the motorway, the car pulls harder now from low down and mid range, which is what i wanted and so far seems better on fuel too.
Hitting the A and B roads driving with anger it feel more torquey and more power up top too.
Mr Ant, what can i say, very happy with the set up and no doubt a bit more to come with a rolling road re map and a few tweaks, many thanks Sir!!
