You're not executive until you own an E38 at least.
This is just a pretend executive barge... I'd be ashamed to say it was mine.
Looks like a nice motor. What's the spec and engine size? I see it has leather at least...

How much was it, and what sort of issues did it come with? Just had to replace my E34 535i's water pump at the considerable expense of £21.50 (pump) + £0.88 (gasket)

Still, that's the price you have to pay to be a right f'ing executive...

issues..
um
stat is stuck open (or, tho hopfully not, is removed)
Interior lights dont come on when you open the door, tho they do work on their switches
Heater blower is noisy/only really works on full (biggest pain to sort i reckon)
other than that i think its pretty much ok

my e34 has similar blower issue?mine has a microfilter fitted under centre console area...32s maybe same?but when they are old and cruddy ,ventilation tends to be piss poor.

The m30 e32 I had has electric controls for ventilation- not a fecking scoob how they work. In contrast the e34 ones are usually lever operated....
Whilst checking the stat (or lack there of) make sure the coolant level sensor wire hasnt been bypassed- often goes faulty, but also an easy way tohide issues re headgasket/overheating/thermostat.
best of british

glad im not the only one slightly mistified by the e32 heater controls.. think i've roughly worked them out now tho
gonna check the stat out over the weekend, biggest issue that needs sorting due to the impact on the already not great fuel consumption

E34's only have push buttons if they have air con. Non aircon E34's have the three sliding levers as do basic air con E34's which have levers and an air con button.
E32's have push buttons with or without air con.

Im loving the 7 'experience' its like driving an automotive sofa, bumps, what bumps?! Kickdown is amusing, shifts pretty well
Now to sort that stat..
Anyone have any ideas why the interior lights dont come on with the door being opened?

It really is a pleasant way to travel. I reckon you could drive it for 36hrs without sleep- assuming you could afford to fill the tank
Glad you're enjoying it
as for door lights-no Idea sorry

will have a look at the switch..
bootlight works
replaced the stat, the old one was non existant, the middle had been snapped out

Luckily with s new one in it sits perfectly @1/2 on the guage, was shitting it it would start overheating, tightened the slack out the throttle cable also, with the heat in the engine and slack out the cable, drives alot nicer and uses less fuel (thank fook!

)
