i was wondeing if you guys from the forum can give me really good tips for my bmw e30 convertible 318 on making the performance better due to me living in a area full of japs eveywhere such as subaru and that etc..i want to show how a german perform..
what is the best engine or is the existing one is good?
what to upgrade too?
what kind of exhaust should i get?
should i add throttle bodies?
get short shift gear box??
hope to hear from all you guys thanks...

unless you bolt on a turbo or change the engine altogether dont expect to be showing any jap cars a view of your rear end in the distance unless the jap cars you mention are cars like micras ,yaris etc.

Chris P has turbo'd a m40 (the same engine as yours). It'll give 325's more than a run for their money. Still no where near Scooby territory. Fuzzy has a mutant cossie in his touring. Ask how much he has spent and that'll give you an idea.

whos the best place to do this conversion? due to im from sheffield...
what would it be if i just put a turbo to it what performance will i gain out of it and will it beat a 270 bhp scooby...
