I have just been to get my tracking done after getting my rear
bushes and springs kit .
bad news my rear wheels are out in every way,toe,camber thrust angle,
what can i do to fix this,eccentric bushes diffrernt top plates some
one must have come acrossthis promlem
rearwheel camber/castor/toe adjustment

I remember this topic generated a heated debate about the effect on camber when changing shocks etc, you new zoners wont remeber, but us old school will!!!

Dred mate i cant help you but i am sure someone will answer. I am assuming you changed all the bushes and that nothing has been bent or extreamly worn?

I have K-Mac adjustable trailing arm bushes that can adjust camber and toe. They were AUD$295 for the rear kit.
How much extra camber do you have? A little bit extra wouldn't be a big problem and will help handling. A lot extra and it will wear the inside of the rear tyres quickly.

I cant rember where u can get these from but there is available some ajustable top mounts 4 the e30 and as bloke above says about the camber some will help the handling but to much will wear tyres out like that. A couple of years ago i had a granada cossie and when i slammed it -120mm my rear camber was 28 degrese and usde to wear tyres out on the inside edge in 8000 miles plat with rotation and remove an refittin in opp direction..... left it like ik it coz i could go round corners at some stupid speeds that u would'nt dream of doin.....

u cant adjust the camber/toe unless u get eccentric bushes in the trailing arms, the bushes may be worn, but generally all e30s show dodgy rear readings, as long as each side is about the same it doesnt really matter...excessive lowering an cause lots of neg camber like on my car, but this helps handling neway, although i do get thru lots of rears

these are my readings for the rear left camber -1.06toe -1.31
right rear -1.47 toe-;0.16
total toe -1.47
thrust angle -0.38
right rear -1.47 toe-;0.16
total toe -1.47
thrust angle -0.38

hmmmmmm mine are a lot closer to each other than that and mine is lowered 60mm...... it may have had a kerb knock and bent something in the rear...... its a VERY long job but may be worth changng the whole back axle.....
