build a strong YB, i've been out in a harvy gibbs ( it think it was them ) built real 400 bhp 3 door and that was plenty quick

ive been around knockhill circuit in a 550bhp 3 door(allegedly) but thought that it was tuner bullsh1t figures as although the car was quick it didnt strike me as 250bhp's worth quicker than mine. the car belonged to the 'specialist' that fitted my engine and he's well known in the ford community as a bullsh1tter

i was quoted £12000 for a completely rebuilt, high spec ,balanced and blueprinted etc bench dyno proven 600bhp cossie engine iirc. bit to far for me tbh as i struggle to get the power i have atm on to the road in the slightest of damp conditions. fun though

thats the problem with being on Gods side of the border. proven specialists are few and far between.
does dips have traction issues with his high power e30's? how does he get the power down succesfully? or is it down to self control of the right foot?

self control, i was ok with the m3 and that was similar power to what you have. but we like to provoke our cars for fun !

does it come with enough lag to allow you to read the paper before the boost kicks in?

what turbo are you using? surely a man of your experiences has went down a different route than the old faithful T4 ?

I would much rather hear about the spec of a yb engine that can run 60 psi with no surge with anything larger than a cotton reel blower
Whats the spec of the unit mate?
btw i collected that touring today

I think i need a go in that V12 - getting very very tempted to have my V12 put into my touring - or take Dips' one off his hands

why dont you buy a second hand cossie lump and build your own spec engine in your shed ??
will give you so much more satisfaction than shelling out money to someone else
and means you can keep your car on the road in the mean time.

its a one off hybrid GT seris with roller bearing core, they are race turbo which come with no guarantee, however they are guaranteed to not blow ! go figuer that out ??
but having seen the way it boosts and the power delivary, virtually no lag and good throttle responce. so i'm getting one for the M3 !!

Your buying a 2k pound turbo?
You´r better of shopping around for something WAY cheaper that can provide the same thing.
