a mk1 punto! piece of shite always let me down but i wish i'd kept it! lowered on 15's handled like a dream! so many mischeavous memories of that car! crashed it, repaired it sold it to a mate a few yrs back, he rang me out the blue about a yr ago to say he'd laid "percy" to rest.

Had to rebuild the rear chassis legs and do the head gasket. Bought it when I was 16 ready for when I passed my test at 17. Soon sold it and bought a MkII Cortina 1500 pre crossflow and then a MkII 1600E. This was all while I was 161/2 to 17.

1966 Vauxhall Viva. What a pile of shite!
Very fragile engines. Blew-up the original one, put in a second-hand one from a scrapper, that blew-up so I rebuilt the original. Never had any more mechanical problems - just rust which ended-up as terminal in 1978.

A 1973 Fiat 126, with the 594cc 2-cylinder air-cooled 'engine' pushing out a whopping 23bhp. Saw 80mph (downhill) out of it a few times though! I remember being very envious of Minis at the time...
