a mk1 punto! piece of shite always let me down but i wish i'd kept it! lowered on 15's handled like a dream! so many mischeavous memories of that car! crashed it, repaired it sold it to a mate a few yrs back, he rang me out the blue about a yr ago to say he'd laid "percy" to rest.

Actually now i come to think of it ive got a totally rebuilt gas flowed and ported engine sitting in Father in laws garage that i never got round to fitting.

Very fragile engines. Blew-up the original one, put in a second-hand one from a scrapper, that blew-up so I rebuilt the original. Never had any more mechanical problems - just rust which ended-up as terminal in 1978.
