you can get them repaired but its not going to stop it cracking for anywhere else, also depends how much they are going to cost to repair.

you must be doing something wrong as i drive mine very hard and havent cracked one yet and ive had 2 different sets. cracks can be welded and repaired easy enough .

the makes i dont no, i no for sure they are not the bk 171. i had 1 wheel repaired already bcoz i got them like that of a zoner 3 wheels was good 1 had to be repaired, i dont no how i got a crack on this wheel though i was loosing air, lets say i put in 32 today tommorow it would be 10, so i got it checked and the tyre guy says theres to cracks thats wer its leaking from. ive had lots of wheels in the past but never had this kind of problem until i got these alpina reps, is it the way they are made? thanks raj :?

I bought a set of alpina reps 18 months ago (new) and i spent more time pumping them up than driving with the damn things. If i wasn't pumping them up i was in the tyre shop having them balanced. Bloody thing would shake your fillings out from 45mph all the way upwards. Took them back and complained and came away with another set of tyres but guess what, no sodding different. Best thing i ever did was buy some BBS rims, now it drives perfect.

I think you'll always get cracks if the rims are vibrating all the time. Can't be good.

I personally wouldn't drive on a wheel that had cracked or been repaired. Not a pretty site when it lets go at speed ! Get a good set on there, your life and others is worth more than a few wheels.

im not going to accuse him of doing such a thing so i wont mention his name and besides i dont think he would do that, but you never know. dont worry about it mate. the set i gave him had 1 cracked 2 buckled and 1 ok. they were in a crash at a high speed.im not trying to have a dig at you mate, i like alpina reps i think they are good wheels.

In my opinion alpina reps are better wheels to have on an e30 when they are properly fitted and balanced and made by bk. they arent stronger but that doesnt matter as long as you dont introduce them into kirbs all the time

they dont if you dont smash them into curbs. they are a little heavier with a better center of gravity for a start. they give the back end greater stability as well
