my reps are scuffed and never cracked saying that years ago used to have wolfrace poodoos and 2 of them cracked
the makes i dont no, i no for sure they are not the bk 171. i had 1 wheel repaired already bcoz i got them like that of a zoner 3 wheels was good 1 had to be repaired, i dont no how i got a crack on this wheel though i was loosing air, lets say i put in 32 today tommorow it would be 10, so i got it checked and the tyre guy says theres to cracks thats wer its leaking from. ive had lots of wheels in the past but never had this kind of problem until i got these alpina reps, is it the way they are made? thanks raj

It's because they are ashamed of their gayness.

I bought a set of alpina reps 18 months ago (new) and i spent more time pumping them up than driving with the damn things. If i wasn't pumping them up i was in the tyre shop having them balanced. Bloody thing would shake your fillings out from 45mph all the way upwards. Took them back and complained and came away with another set of tyres but guess what, no sodding different. Best thing i ever did was buy some BBS rims, now it drives perfect.
lol i agree with u on the shaking jacko but mine never seemed to bad, im just geting these cracks and now im geting fed up 2 bcoz each time i repair them it costs me £35 so im thinking of geting sum bbs to i think thas the best way and 15inch wil b a nice n comfy ride im hoping without any crack problems

I personally wouldn't drive on a wheel that had cracked or been repaired. Not a pretty site when it lets go at speed ! Get a good set on there, your life and others is worth more than a few wheels.

the bk ones are ok its the £199 a set brandnew ones you gotta watch out for
You let the owner drive away with cracked wheels?sam325is wrote:how do you know they werent mine they sound just like it? mine got sold to a zoner on a car i sold them and i told him they were ****** and never to be used

im not going to accuse him of doing such a thing so i wont mention his name and besides i dont think he would do that, but you never know. dont worry about it mate. the set i gave him had 1 cracked 2 buckled and 1 ok. they were in a crash at a high speed.im not trying to have a dig at you mate, i like alpina reps i think they are good wheels.
In my opinion alpina reps are better wheels to have on an e30 when they are properly fitted and balanced and made by bk. they arent stronger but that doesnt matter as long as you dont introduce them into kirbs all the time
