Imo, the grille looks a bit weird as its the only chrome part on the car... can some one photoshop it black with also smoked headlamps pritty please

painted mine..... i agree it did look a little silly being the only bit of chrome.
just popped it off rubbed the chrome with some sand paper and rattle canned it with some looonyversal satin black.
job done.

i bet its driving you mad just thinking about it being chrome now!...... steal a car, charter a private plane, thumb a lift....... walk if you have to....... you must get there somehow and paint it!!!!!!!!!!

if you do, do the whole lot in satin black, otherwise the kidney looks a lot blacker than the light grills.

Same here! Here's a pic of mine, what do you guys think of the chrome grill on an alpine white II Sport? It is the only bit of chrome wrongness on my car too...

Chrome wrongness?
The chrome grill defines the E30, taking it away is like removing the cars 'e30-ness'.
Leave it chrome imo. Dont subject another E30 to this crime

One point though...mine's a chrome painted black, but matte black paint doesn't stand up to stone chips that well. I reckon I'll probably have to paint mine every year at least...no great hardship though I guess!
