Imo, the grille looks a bit weird as its the only chrome part on the car... can some one photoshop it black with also smoked headlamps pritty please winkeye

painted mine..... i agree it did look a little silly being the only bit of chrome.
just popped it off rubbed the chrome with some sand paper and rattle canned it with some looonyversal satin black.
job done. :)

if you do, do the whole lot in satin black, otherwise the kidney looks a lot blacker than the light grills.

Chrome wrongness?

The chrome grill defines the E30, taking it away is like removing the cars 'e30-ness'.

Leave it chrome imo. Dont subject another E30 to this crime :wink:

One point though...mine's a chrome painted black, but matte black paint doesn't stand up to stone chips that well. I reckon I'll probably have to paint mine every year at least...no great hardship though I guess!
