Hi, I'm just looking at some other sensible mods I can make to my '88 325i 2dr.

Already got a fast road cam, ported & polished head, re-map ecu, FSE power boost valve, k&n panel filter in standard air box, scorpion stainless dtm system, but on standard exhaust manifold. All of this was done to the car before I got it.

Been thinking about putting the larger throttle body/afm from a 3.5 on it. Is this a straigh swap and will I need to have the ecu remapped once installed?

I plan to get it on a rolling road for a proper set up in the next 3 months, would be interested to see what power and torque it is making with these mods.

cheers fella, saved myself a bit of messing around there then!

I suppose from what i've done to it so far, the only way I can go now is to either go for some fancy throttle body induction system/ bike carbs or more displacement. How much hassle is the 3.5 conversion?
