Hi ,anyone replaced a heater matrix insitu before ? just replaced the valve that was leaking , now i think the matrix is leaking too :cry: :cry:

It can be done, but for the extra work involved, dash out is sooo much easier.

Sort of Dan, sort of.....
I put a packet of Ce-lit in and dried the carpet. It's all good at the moment but I'm keeping an eye on it. TBH, I'm not sure if it's the matrix or the valve that's at fault.

I recently had a leak in the passenger footwell and found that one of the rubber pipes that are attached to the matrix pipes coming from the bulk head were not tight enough. I tightened the jubilee clip and the leak has stopped but i still aint got no heat coming from the vents! :cry:

i have just fixed the valve and it looked like water was coming from the housing below but then then seemed to stop so going to have another look today :)
