Does anybody know the size of the bleed nipples on 325i/318is front brake calipers? One of mine has at some point become rounded off and needs replacing. Is it now just a case of mole grips and WD40, or are there any better techniques for removing it?
Cheers,

Heat. Lots of it.
Blowtorch and molegrips.
IIRC there are only two sizes, and ours are the smaller of the two.

Steelers are a bit pricey on bleed nipples as I recall. Something like £6 each. Just measured the thread diameter of my spare one, and it's 6.88mm

Any old autoparts shop will sell them. mine were 50p each.

Yeah, just changed mine, 7mm spanner.
Mine were rounded too, so I took the caliper off, held the rounded nipple in a vice, and twisted the caliper off of it.
You're gonna need to bleed it anyway, at least this way you get full access to the area
New nipples were about £4-£5 from dealers iirc.
