BMW couldn't have picked a better moment either, with the four-door Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera arriving soon. (quotey!)

Really like that BM. The grille lends itself to the mustang/aston, shape and lights to an aston/cls. Just needs some halfrauds satin black on the grille

prise it off, replace it with something thats not far too wide and large to work with any of the other styling on the car, then spray that black.blatantarrogance wrote:Nah, prise the bast@rd off and get that chrome wrongness sortednickso wrote:lol....it takes a brave man to paint his grille on his brand new £150,000 motor.blatantarrogance wrote:. Satin black is all about quality of finish. Finnesse mate, finnesse, none of your rough handed cro-magnon antics, dear boy!!!munky30 wrote:edit> double post, but I'll keep this bit....to make my point.

You may fancy a bit of Matt Black, personally I can't comment as I've never met the bloke!!!

He's a lovely chap, though tends to be a bit clingy. I find if I spend too much time with him he gets a bit annoying so I spread him thinly as it were. Little and often.
The best thing about him is his ability to ignore any discrepancies you may have, he wont ever comment on a big zit on your nose or mention that nasty scar you have. He blanks all these little imperfections and they seem to just disappear.
I hear he's a bit cheap though, and posh folks dont get on well with him.

so much for the flame surfacing! that looks like a ceyanne front! death.
i hope the real car (if they make it) will have a more smooth elegant car!
looks like a product designer has done this rather than a car designer with taste.

looks like a mazda xedos
I had a mazda xedos 6 and always said from the side it looked (very remotely) like the quattroporte and people just looked at me funny
Maybe they were just looking at me funny because I owned a xedos 6....

Can't see the point of this model.
Mercedes pissed a lot of people off with it's insane and confusing model line-up.
How is this different to a 5-Series? All BMW's are sporty so you don't really have the problem of the 4 door cars being dull.
This way lies dilution of the brand.

Where does this fit in? A 4 door 6? Why not get a an M5 then?
