You may aswell take the M42 PAS pump out now,you wont be needing that!
as above, you need the E36 325/328 front half mated to E30 rear half using a modified E30 centre bearing!brian325i wrote:anyone able to tell what prop ill need from the pic of my gearbox end????its e36325 gearbox and you can see the end from the pics i rhink
Looking at your pic iyt looks like you have the larger guibo pattern hence needing the 325/328 prop.brian325i wrote:@eko ..i thought it depended on the output shaft..thats good news..thanks..looks like i need to find an e36 325 beig broke..gearlinkages , prop , powersteering pump..
is the back half a normal e30..ie will my 318is do..
i read bout the centre bearing issue in m50 developments thread and doesnt seem scary![]()
thanks for your help
The ratios in the M50 box are awkward.brian325i wrote:why ? what way does it drive with e36 325 g/box and 318is diff??
i thought the flywheel doesnt match up..if it drives ok id be happy..i dont mind a top speed of 125mph..thats the difference isnt it????
Shit hot for acceleration, dont know how long itll last thoughbrian325i wrote:i presume you get much better acceleration though do you??1/4 mile time?
i could live with 110mph until i sourced another diff.i have an e30 mkI sport dif if thatd be better
