Alex has Tb's on his twin turbo beastie. Hard to say where the improvements were though as it was running on a very basic map last I went in it.

Toby Unna's M30T has improved throttle response with the M5 TB's but the overall performance is similar to previous single TB setup.

Expensive mod, lets see what the M30T puts out on the rollers in its new guise :D

bike TB's are not designed to run pressurised, and a plenum would be a lot of fabrication work, could be done though.

Alex will make a duplicate set of TB's to suit the boosted M20 app, for a price, custom designed, custom made, one offs( but there'd be 2 sets :lol :) drop him a PM Kev ?

TB's will alwasy show a gain over a single TB/pleumn style intake, n/a or FI, no 2 wasy abaout it.

The cost worries me though, I'm on a budget

:D not for about 8 weeks I won't :( I'm booked out believe it or not!

Will be making four sets of M20 throttles when the time comes though to keep the cost per set down, two of which are already accounted for :) Sure I can sell the other two sets though :D

what do you mean by two sets? do they come in a treble or a double set up? ive only seen throttle bodies in doubles....

and what kind of money would we be talking about??

Two engine sets :D

I make single throttles up to my own design and then fabricate three manifolds up to accept the injectors, throttles and breather pipe. Think I said about £975 for the set but hopefully a little less if the linkage is simpler than the engine I'm working on at the moment :)

Can do, but you need a very progressive throttle linkage (not a problem) and very good resolution on your load sensors, especially if throttle angle's involved in any way.

ITB = INDIVIDUAL throttle bodies.... so 1 throttle body per cylinder.

You have one throttle per cylinder and a linkage which connects them in such a way that when you press the accelerator pedal, the throttles all open by the same amount.

You can put your throttle position sensor pretty much anywhere on the linkage, but reading directly off the the butterfly spindle is probably best.

The positions sensors can be from pretty much anything as long as they're sensors and not switches like the standard M20 has.

The throttles do all need balancing so that the idle's smooth and all cylinders get the same amount of air. I prefer to make mine all independently adjustable as it's easy to adjust them that way, and if one goes out of adjustment for whatever reason, it doesn't take the rest with it.

Problem I have with bike TBs and various aftermarket systems is that the throttles all reference eachother directly and, especially on an inline 6 engine which is quite long, you've got dinky little linkages all pushing against multiple springs and twisting spindly little spindles so there's lots of potential for things to go out of adjustment :(
