if you have a local breakers, i found a rectangular vitara washer bottle is easy to fit to the (now lonely and empty looking) afm bracket with a simple ali plate bracket. i drilled a hole in the side and fitted the E30 level sender too

When I eventually get mine on the rollers I want to try the K&N cone that came with my donor car and a standard E32 air box and do a back to back comparison. Just to see for myself and settle the age old debate!
As for bonnet venting, there is always this quick, easy and free method!

I'm not fussed about stealth or pretty.
If it has any effect at all, it's a free mod!
And a 1 minute job to loosen 4 bolts and put it back!

Its a horses for courses thing then mate.
If performance was 'everything' then i would have a blower on there by now (or put a YB in there
I think i may run a duct from the exhaust manifold to the filter just to see what reaction that gets lol

I'm going to go have a play around with the original one to see if i can get it to fit with the airbox as being a lux it was too poverty to have the headlight washers and the bottle is smaller
