my stereo keeps cuttin off wen i turn it up, it onli does it now and again and i hav checked all the wires, ne 1 ne ideas

You have to change the rear plug at the back of the unit. Do this ......

Buy one from Halfrauds (keep the reciept) now swap your shitty one over and return the fukker :lol:
Make sure your old one looks new though :wink:
Worked for me. mine used to cut out when the bass was turned up :lol:

while your at it check the (+) and (-) on all speakers. If they are connected in the wrong order the sterio can flash and the sound will be poor

This is the symptom of clipping, where the speakers have a lower sensitivity being driven by low power amp. The headunit pumps more power to wires than it takes in, therefore it either switches of speakers or switiches off temporarily.

You could have a bad earth, but i doubt it, best to check voltages in the wiring with a suitable meter!

it is an alpine cda 7893 vi think, not runnin an amp as yet, but it is power infinity 125 watt rears and alipne 200watt front, it blew the fuse runnin from the stereo to the battery so i replaced it wit a 35amp one?
