There are alot of small (and not so small) scuff marks on the seatback panels of my new set of sport seats. I thought a good clean and poilish would remove them but they are still visible.
Does anyone have any tips on how to remove or disguise these?
Thanks,
Kevin

I have those scuffs too, and on the bottom of the drivers' door card. I haven't been able to get rid of them either so any suggestions would be great!

scuff marks? do u mean actual abrasion to the seat back or just marks from shoes that dried out and left a mark?

They're like black marks left by shoes kicking the back of the seat or door cards.

sewing machine oil, and a towel
should losen the dirt in the grain, and smooth the surface and give it a juice at the same time

depends how bad dude
if theyԚ´re really gouged then itԚ´ll be harder, mabey a plastic filler (?) or melting a (this will sound weird) a coloured glue gun stick
and smoothing it with a wet finger
i fpml as i write this , thinking `yeah, whos gonna do that
Ԛ´
if its not to serious then try a iron against folded foil, to press the scuff in on itself, other than that, i would prefer a new pannel.. or a stiff drink

Some marks are more like gouges than scuffs, so I guess some sort of filler is in order here. I know you can get special fillers with leather restoration kits, but probably expensive. Guess I'll start with the small ones and work my way round.

you can use a rubbing compound. it takes it right off. i figured it out on accident. but yeah it works

Woolies leather colour stuff can hide a world of damage pretty convincingly..kevin316i wrote:Some marks are more like gouges than scuffs, so I guess some sort of filler is in order here..

Try a paint stripper heat gun, but dont hold it to close cause you will
melt the plastic.try it on something else first!!! it does work, just take your time.
