Inectors leak - don't even think about rechipping one as the injectors can literally explode without warning, soaking everything with diesel - entire underside and the rear tyres included.

Possibly the last really good diesels were the old pre TDCi Mondeos and 306/405 Diesels, old technology and thus reliable and easy to fix. This modern stuff is a disaster area.
