For one, My car came with a 4.27 diff which I sold! Look at my feedback!Argos wrote:It'll just be very revvy at speed - and don't do any donuts/burnouts or you WILL f*ck it.
StevusTiggus; how on earth are you running a 4.1 318i diff with an M50 manual box with it's 1:1 top gear? 70 mph would be about 4000 rpm.
Two, When did I say I was running a 4.1 diff?
Idiot!
im running a 2.0 auto diff all seems fine and it will go sideways easy but not like a lsd would i geuss

Then you might just be stuck somewhere.
Make sure you have some sort of recovery service.
Get a 3.91 LSD and have some real fun!

I had a 318ti small case on my 320i touring for a while, it then went on Andy (demlots) car with a fair bit of HP and lasted a fair few miles, before it was changed for an LSD. Still no whines!

Depends how good you are with your left hand.
It won't make a massive difference unless the ratio is changed significantly.

The 2.0L diff is 4:10 ratio, same as the 1.8 diff. That's why he said!!
Get your fact's straight before you open your gob!
