All sounds good Daz - yes, wheels off ground ideally & engine on.

Saw your Sport yesterday but couldn't find you?

It can depend on which rack you have, some are all aluminium and the older ones can be steel.
If you look at the back of the pump some have the connections 90 degrees apart and some have them about 50 degrees apart (can't remember which) and they have different mounting brackets.
They both run at the same pressure and can be swapped but it gets a bit tight with the return pipe.
There is NO nucleus.

when bleeding it...

fill reservoir to top
turn on the engine
keep turning steering lock-to-lock
get someone else to top up the bottle whilst you turn steering lock-to-lock

it doesnt really matter if the wheels are on the ground or not, but i've always done it with the wheels in the air
