ok i cant compare it to a 318 or 325 as ive never been in one BUT i think the 320 is GREAT!! its a lovely drive but havent given it any boot yet, saving that for tomorrow 8)
will take some pics tomorrow too when its a bit lighter outside :D :D

320 is a decent car, mine has a surge at about 4k and paxo vtr stuffing performance winkeye

yeah, what is it about that surge at 4k? its more noticable than my old civic vtec??

all i can put it down to (from snippits of info i have seen on here) is that mine being an 88 facelift is mapped to run a kat which it hasnt got... so is lean in the mid range and fuel's properly again above 4K


dunno if thats right or wrong though :mad:

It's all to do with the ports being too big. They flow too much air for a 2.0 litre, and that makes the gas speed too slow at low revs.
That's why the 'head deosn't really need porting when it's used on a 2.7 bottom end, they're plenty big enough to cope with the extra 700cc's.

BTW, nice car Mic. 4-door too! :cool: Enjoy it.
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

similar to mine! i love it! even has the bus steering wheel! i gotta get rid of mine! so hard to get the back end back in with a wheel that size
