The cable will appear from under the dashboard, you'll need to remove the cover under the dash to locate it.

To route the cable to the boot you need to remove the rhs front speaker cover and slide out the plastic trim running along the bottom of the door opening, then remove the rear seat base.

The cable follows the wiring loom along the side of the car and pops out into the boot from the rhs corner of the rear seat.

Make sure you secure the cable properly along its route, you don't want this un-fused cable rubbing through the insulation.

Also make sure the rubber grommet is seated correctly where the cable runs from the engine bay into the passenger compartment or you'll get a soggy carpet !.

Cheers,

Which will be dried out very quickly when the bat cable rubs through.

For anyone else that might be interested:

Right obviously it goes from the engine bay here (The larger rusty hole in the centre of the picture!):

Then inside it comes through here: (Bear in mind mine has been completely stripped out!)

On the far left of this picture you can see the spring on the brake pedal, and on the right hand side is the place where the speaker goes under the kick panel.

The third picture is just taken a bit further back to show more of the area.

Hope this helps.

Every saloon/coupe shell will have this hole but it is usually disguised by sealant.

look at Ian's pictures

take a small hammer and a blunt screwdriver, tap the area lightly and around, the sealant will break as mine, which was more of a cutout metal piece which will give way once you knock it a few times

btw which year make is your car?
