The black plug is for the interior light delay relay, not sure about the rest of the top of my head though

2. mine isn't conected too. Don't wory about it.

Grey/Green wire from plug isn't conected.
Grey/Yellow wire with blue plug isnt conected.

Thick green/Blue wire is for power to electric windows.

2 x red/yellow wires... NO IDEA... mine doesn't have any.

There are loads of normally unused connectors around E30s and most other cars as well. They are for various markets and options.
If everything works, chances are they shouldn't be connected.
Just as long as you don't come across any of those bl**dy scotchlock things as in Smithy318i's pic.

have you tried joining the two Red/black wires together on the inside of the multiplug? this fixes a lot of CL faults.

sorry should of said the blue/green wire was tucked up behind steering wheel . the locking has ever worked as such but found some broken pins in the plug so doing them now. the locking use to work every now and then but only if i turned the key to 90degrees to deadlock ( and it used to make buzzing sound and popped back up ) but i was told that there are 2 positions the other one at 45degrees ?????? is that right ????

Disconnect the two red/blacks from the door connector (car side) and join them together.
You are correct as to how the locking should work. Any faults with this will most likely be cured by a good service and adjustment of the key barrel assembly and the bits it interacts with.
