Why is it all car ramps (the type you buy in halfords) seem to all be too short and too steep? Is there no market for cars with low clearance? I'm just looking at some of the cars passing my office window, and I'd say anything bigger than a Fiesta that doesn't look like it's riding on stilts, isn't going to get on a standard pair of ramps.

i have a set of those ramps and there pants for sporty type cars i cant get my 325i or jaguar xjs onto them cars are too low / the angle is too steep.

u could try a couple of planks of wood to extend the ramp ,that has worked for me in the past . Im savin my pennies for a proper car lift .

I have owned 3 Jags, and 2 e30's and non of them would go on ramps. Best I can find are these, but they are not cheap, and on the wrong side of the pond.

Halfords etc sell long yellow wheel chocks, they are supposed to be used for levelling camper vans but they make excellent low entry ramps to get onto your car ramps.

my is is down 35mm on H&R spings, to get it anywhere near lifted up I have to drive it onto bricks and if using ramps remove the front splitter

I use a jack first to get the ramps under the wheels, total nightmare with it being lowered 60mm

I bought a set of ramps last Christmas and when I trid to use I realised that they are too steep! Need to get the front off the ground soon so plan to use some planks of timber. Pain in the butt
