since my mini bump, the engine was moved forward...
in order to remindy this i undo the mount, lift the engine up, (block of wood and a trolley jack under the sump, )
it came undone from both ends, however cant get it to sit back on top of them, need to move the engine to the back slightly, both holes and mountings are quite off.
anyone know what i can do now?? or even better, can anyone give me a hand!? (croydon area)
engine mount problem help please

You may need to loosen the propshaft slide a bit - remember to pre-load the centre bearing when you do it back up and mark all bits (tippex is fine) so if you pull out the shaft it goes back in the same way it came out (to maintain balance).

This is why you should only do one side at a time.
You will need to drop the exhaust and loosen the prop in the centre where the centre baring is. This will then give you enough slack to push the engne back onto the new mounts.

got it back on the mounts and the mounts are nice and loose,
however, the engine still not budging,,
havnt released the propshaft slider, its got the covering over and exhaust preventing this from coming off....
is there any other way of allowing the engine to move around back and forth??

Cover can be got off without removing exhaust.

you need to undo the gear box mountings, these are holding the engine in place at the rear
