It sounds interesting it looks like the posterior hub of the z3 can be used in the e30

Yup, this has been looked at before. The E36 rear hub is also a possibility as is the E30 M3 hub, as they mostly all use the same bearing - just needs someone to try it out.

You will need to redrill the 4 stud rear discs to 5 stud to keep the original rear brakes, but thats not a big deal to do.

I dont know about the front hubs but a braker here in greece tells me that he can fit the e36 front and rear hubs with the e36 brakes etc. Iplan to go for the whole conversion next october (m3 s50) In the meantime the site to visit is:http://www.realoem.com/bmw/ but no exact info. about the front

You can use E36 parts at the front. It just bolts on with the right parts.

in my personal opinion the only correct way to do this on the front is to use e30 m3 parts, i managed to find both front legs and rear traing arms for less than £250, at least you know your not fcuk!*g around with the cars geometry that way.

But as for the rear, the bearings are the same as the e30 m3 and z3 so in theroy you could just use e30 m3 or z3 hub flanges (i also belive that e28 hub flanges will fit)
