Someone had a Z1 at Aces last time - I could happily sit there for a day playing with those doors
Ugly car though.

hahahaha
what a huge amount of work has gone into that
you'd think it was a new beemer in your rear view mirror then as it shoots past to discover its actually a scooby
as long as he butchered a shite condition breaker e30 then its all good

A Scooby...? Are they scooby rear lights...? I thought they were the new 7-series rear units...
It's still an E30 underneath though...

i think they've done a good job, the back lights and boot look cool, and all the lines match up. 8/10 for the effort

Those look like new 5-series rear lights to me.
The work looks good quality, shame it doesn't look good
Richy I'm almost definite that the Z1 is heavier. It did indeed have some plastic panels though.

looks quite nice, when do they put the doors on?
is it the type of car that everywhere you look, you will find bits of e30?
for example:
remember the older TVRs? you notice that the rear lights are off a sierra, and the engine is the same 2.8i, even the key is ford.
and the same thing with lotus elise, how the dash board is a vauxall, along with steering controls.

About the z1 vs 325 and which is heavier, got this from unix nerd
325 weights 1200 kgs (1240 kgs U.S.)
Power / Weight (bhp / 1000kg) 141 (101 U.S.)
Z1 weights 1253kgs
Power / Weight (bhp / 1000kg) 136
So according to that z1 is slower than our 325s but quicker than a yank one?
