Another m30 topic ! can anyone who has done the conversion give me a rough idea how much the linkage needed shortning with the engine in position 2 / 2 1/2 ? i have a z3 lever too if i used that would the linkage need bending to clear the prop as i have heard it needs when fitted to an m20 ?

Not sure about how much too chop out as you are going for a differant position to me but i use an Z3 1.9 lever and i didn't have to bend the linkage.

seconded. original 2.5 linkages kept but with a 1.9 z3 stick. no bending or anything required, it just all fits together perfectly!
