Hi ,i have been planning an m30 conversion but due to trouble at work it looks like i wont be able to do it there
i had thought that maybe an m50 conversion might be a little easier to do outside in the driveway ! just wondered if you guys who had experiance of both might have some idea of the performance difference between the two ?
cheers paul

ditto that
(i think karan and I are talking about the same cars!)
the figures speak for themselves really, 193bhp vs 220bhp, and the m30 has much more torque.
2.8 m52 would be as good as an m30 i guess, but they're rarer and more expensive.

Thanks guys kind of backs up my original thinking , i was pretty set on the m30 and started getting stuff together then my boss decided to start being a twat so i thought mabe the m50 would be a bit quicker to do as i have to work outside but i think i will stick to the m30 even if it takes a bit longer .

Both conversions will have issues to overcome - I doubt working on your driveway will make one conversion harder than the other.
Bring on the M30 power
