E30 cabrio hood wiki (Admins)

Hi folks, a few years back there was a very good wiki page on the very complicated EM cabriolet hood, then the zone was updated and the wiki link I had saved was showing a error code and would not load, I did approach the admin' at the time regarding this and was told they would look in to it but nothing ever came of it and I didn't push it any further," I realy wish now I had printed it" it was a extremely informative page with the full wiring diagram, how to test the micro switches, their location and how to resync the hood motors, I used this page to help myself and posted the link to other people in trouble, is it possible to restore this wiki page please or is it long lost?

Old links do not work on the new Zone, can't be done without a huge amount of work. Same as links in old forum threads.

The pages are still there if you do a new search but links do not work anymore

I think people move on and without access to the "Niggly bits" it`s hard to function sometimes, not that I would know what to do any way
Communication is "Fraught" at times but I do try my best to get things resolved

Hi Mart,
I tried to send the Pdf as an attachment to the PM I received, but the zone's system wouldn't allow we to do that. Perhaps the file is too large?

If you can think of another method, then of course, I will provide this.

Now I did use a system a few years ago which condensed the file more than enough to send and recover it but can I hell as like remember what it was.
Come on tech boffins ,help us out here please.

A pdf, by definition should not present a sending issue. I think the problem may lie with the Zone’s system. I attempted attaching the file using my phone and my Laptop, without it working

Thank you all.i have now printed it like I should have done years ago, anybody got any other hood reset info, I seem to remember a German version years ago that was not the same but equally informative on what is a very complicated system!
