Hi all

I have a metal pipe that goes from the fuel tank to the front of the car, at the front it joins to a rubber hose which does not go anywhere. It was sitting in the frame before I pulled it out.
This connects to the fuel tank behind the filter.

It's rusted more than the other lines so I was wondering if I should remove it if it doesn't do anything. Does anyone know what it is for?

I had the same on mine. If memory serves, it was something to do with the charcoal canister/emissions stuff. I left mine off when I replaced the fuel pipes. I think that there is a wiki entry about it somewhere, and the need to make sure that it's not cut too close to the origin of the pipe - so that it still comes down under the fuel tank some of the way - something like that.

Fuel breather. You can remove that hard line and terminate the breather up by the fuel filter. Just add a small piece of rubber hose there and job done

It's a job I've t do on mine shortly

If you mean the hole in the turret where the pipe pokes out, nothing mate.
Just leave it be unless you're having welding done in the engine bay then you could have a circle patch welded in but I wouldn't worry about it to be honest
