there's so much more to building a 2.7 stroker, cam choice, management, exhaust etc etc.

My car already has a 6 branch manifold, the problem i have is my 325 bottom end is gone, i just purchased a 2.7 complete engine and just want to make it match the performance of my 325. Will a straight bottom end swap match the performance?

I dont really wana go with a larger cam. Its just not my thing

Unless you want to get custom pistons made, everything is in the Wiki page I posted above.

What are you expecting from a 1980s 5 series to 80mph? full fat 535i takes around 14s

No idea, not really interested in 0-60 times, most combinations will be shown the door by a Golf Diesel anyway.

Basic eta combinations not known to light any fires. Properly-built 2.9 stroker maybe ........ but plenty $$$
