325i injectors

Looking on Ebay as you do I noticed an ad seller with a number of brand new injectors for sale

I'm wondering whether they would be suitable for an m20 ? The bar pressure looks correct but that's as far as my technical knowledge extends to

the right chip would work but it'd be a custom job. IMO no worth it. get some closer to stock (around 15lb./hr)

Go with the standard Bosch ones, or get yours serviced properly by a Bosch dealer.

It is a bit pricey, but they will flow test them and check them thoroughly (resistance, response etc).

Best price for Bosch ones that come with new seals i found is €65 each, i am still undecided if i should get mine services or get brand new ones that would last 10+ years (of course as with anything electrical and new, there is always a change of manufacturing defect, just stating theoretically they should last xxx years more).

The set I currently have fitted were a spare set I had ultra sonically cleaned and refurbished with new seals and caps etc. but I suspect that maybe two are leaking ( yet to be confirmed as I have other fuel delivery problems which need addressing first ) I just saw them advertised and wondered whether they would fit . because that would have been a cheap deal for Bosch , when you consider I paid in 2016 £59 for a brand new Bosch fuel pressure regulator now retails at £200 .

Hi, I saw your other thread you mentioned you thought they may be leaking... one thing I'd say is you may have too many assumptions on the go Who did the injectors for you? Injectortune did mine I've never heard any problems if it's them.

I know my leading post did say that there seems to be a few issues which appear to overlap, so you can guess I'm a bit frustrated atm . Yes injectortune did the refurbishment , complete with before and after readouts .The reason why I think perhaps two ? may have failed is when I remove the ignition lead from cylinder 3/4 there is no noticeable drop in the engine speed nor appears to misfire .I've swopped the plugs around from 1 / 6 with no change in revs

Easy to check for leaking injectors with a pressure gauge. Pressure should be maintained for many hours after stopping the engine, especially if the supply and return hoses are clamped off. Only way for the pressure to drop then is via the injectors.
