Anyone use plastic spigot rings?

Mine are hard, very hard.. you cant bend em with yer hands.. you think these would still warp and cause vibration?

Ive still got a lil vibration going on and am exausting all avenues on the cause..

New drop links fitted
Rear sub frame bushes replaced

Diff bush needs replacing..not bad but will need doing soon
17'' Pina reps
Plastic spigot rings

All nearly new tyres
wheels balanced recently.. and not done at yer local cheap garage either..

Its not just through the steering wheel and it only happens between 60-70Mph

Will check if it still does it when ive got 4x peeps in ASAP & change the wheels over to see if its them

Im starting to think il never get rid of it 8O

i had some green plastic spigott rings on my car when i got it, my 2 mates who had the car before me had literally spent hundreds if not thousands chasing a wheel wobble problem around the car.

wobble usually happened around 50mph+ and had eased off by 80-90.

If it is your spigott rings you may find that each time you take a wheel off and but it back on, the vibration is at a slightly different speed as you never get it centred properly in the same place.

I got some plastic replacement ones from a bloke called John at WheelsUK tel 02476 342999 Ԛ£18.99 posted to me. Give him a call and tell him your vehicle & wheel make & size and he will get you the correct ones.

The side/numbers on the ones he sent me are 73.1 & 57.1, not sure what that means.

Anyway by replacing mine it solved the wobble problem. Do your diff anyway and check prop bearing and also track rod ends.
