Good Evening Everyone!
- Never posted on here before so please correct me if this is the wrong place to post and bare with me if i don't work out how to reply  ..

So.. long story short, I bought an E30 325i Touring a few months back.
I was told it was a good runner etc until he started taking bits and bobs off for his other project ( no running proof)

However, i have worked my way around replacing everything missing in the engine bay with known working components,
still no joy.

- I have 12v at the coil, and switched 12v at pin 1, all earths and other lives ok to the eco, Known good coil, only tonight switching it with my working coil off of my 316.. known working crankshaft sensor and its getting fuel just fine.. so any other ideas out there? I've also got 12v on the green wire at c101 plug, and 12v at the both sides of the coil with ignition on, as mentioned above..

Only thing I'm left to think, is ecu, or could the car still be immobilised somewhere? or do i have to much power in places for this to be immobilised? (ICV is bussing on ignition on too )

Thanks in advance!!

Check that there's still 12 volts on the coil + terminal while you're cranking it over. Faulty ignition switch isn't unknown.

Check whether the fuel pump is running while you are cranking. Not actually interested in the pump, which you can't quite get at on a touring without removing the rear seat base hinge rail, so check for power at the inner terminal of fuse 11, preferably with a 12 volt bulb.

i can slightly hear the fuel pump when cranking mate, plus my plugs are getting soaked if i crank for too long..

You mean flat tyre so fuel collects to one side of tank car won't fire. Genius, just needs air.
