Hi

The head unit has a switched power output. Should i use this to power the switched power to the equaliser and amps. Or should I wire them straight to the ACC switched power on the car.

I'm running a Denver, 2 quad amps and an equaliser if that makes any difference to the load on the switched power

Thanks

Jim

I don't know the Denver, but the switched power outlet is usually for the power aerial. Have a search on the internet for the correct power arrangement, you don't want any smoke!
Selection of BMW hardtops available, please ask!

AFAIK, these amps. have a direct, fused connection to the battery for their high current requirements, and are switched on and off by a 12 volt signal which consumes no significant power. The switched live from the radio is used to control the antenna and the power amp.
