they attract a premium as they're limited edition but as you say, that's about it.

the 318is was a limited run and you got a lot more for the money imo .

agreed but not in a cabrio - bmw were not dumb. similarly Porsche detuned the cayman so as not to take 911 sales

This being a 70's model makes it extremely rare in itself!

You wouldn't feel a differece compared to another 325 with extras but it is a limited edition so will always hold it's value if kept well! I think it looks lovely
