that liquid wax doesn't like to bond to poorboys products. get back on the AG HD wax, add a couple of layers and then give it final wipe down with a QD. if you are feeling flush, buy some zaino Z8 and apply it after you wax it. give the wax a couple of hours to cure then apply it.Mitchen wrote:Thanks Gav.. Kos I'm using Maguiar's liquid wax... very easy to apply.. but I'm not seeing the results that I used to get from AG HD wax, even though that did used to take me forever to apply.
Barry, I knew it was temporary but thought it'd be protected and look good for at least a few weeks... all I'm getting is a week to 10 days, before it looks like nothing's been applied!

I've all but given up on the whole cleaning/polishing thing too, it's more or less a waste of time. Not sure what to make of the Z8. Good product, but the hype I read about it seems OTT.. I wasn't blown away like I was supposed to be.. I would compare it to the normal results I get from AG rapid detailer.
But I'm over the moon with how it all turned out.. no more swirl marks for now

I did let it cure but couldn't give it the full two hours as it was like 8pm at the time.. think I left it around 40-50 odd minutes.. that's probably the reason then.
